-
- Always stand on the outside of the structure facing the opening
- WIDTH always supply the opening size in inches at the widest point
- Are there any obstructions that can not be moved? Pipes,
Lights, Etc., if yes note the number of inches from the
opening to the obstruction. Mark in the area clearance left or

- Installation Overview
-
- Using the gage bars (side angles) mark the location of the top and bottom
tracks making sure there is equal spacing from the edge of the opening to
the edge to the tracks.
- Measure the width of the stacks in order to properly center the accordion
shutter in the opening, leaving equal distance from the edge of the opening
and the starting edge of the stack.
- Attach top track to wall as pre-drilled by the factory.
- Center wheels in top track and feed on. Wheels should be closest to wall
with pins to outside.
- Attach gage bars (side angles) to the wall as pre-drilled by the factory
- Attach bottom track to wall as pre-drilled by the factory, butting up to
the bottom of the gage bars (side angles).
- Attach starter strips to gage bars (side angles) with tech screws not exceeding
9” O.C.
- Pull both sides of accordion together and make sure it closes properly and
locks. Adjust the keeper in the male jamb to properly mate with the female
jamb T-handle lock.
- Mark locking pin holes with the shutter in the closed position for additional
strength mark out where pins will fit into each top and bottom track.
- Mark locking pin holes to keep accordion open by moving accordion to open
position and mark out where pins will fit into each top and bottom track.
- Drill holes for both open and closed positions in top and bottom tracks.
